Gary Mogan was born and raised in a small hamlet in the foothills of Southern Ohio called Circleville. This quaint location inspired all of his works of fiction. He graduated Circleville High School and attended The Defiance College in Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio, attaining his Bachelor of Science degree. The idea of writing began while lying in a hospital bed recovering from a serious auto accident, where in an effort to save his life, his right leg was amputated. Feeling frustrated and isolated for months of recovery, he decided to occupy his time with writing this work, coupled with the works of two previously published novels Gary has written. All three novels written to date were outlined while staring at the ceiling of his hospital room. Gary is the father of two grown daughters and has been married for the past thirty-three years. He credits his recovery and inspiration for all his accomplishments in life to his family, who tirelessly stood by his bedside, while motivating his speedy recovery. He has returned to his regular daytime job as an employee with the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice. He has found a fantastic relaxing alternative to the rigors of a full-time stressful job with the creation of his stories. His diverse background, along with far-reaching life experiences, contributed immensely to the development of the characters' thoughts, actions, and the locations of all his novels.
